Tip to Reduce Gas Usage and Save Money!

Janis, sent the below tip. She claims to have saved money and wanted to share it with others!

On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at a press event held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., the Alliance to Save Energy and the Wal-Mart Foundation, together with 16 other partners, launched the Drive $marter Challenge (D$C) – www.drivesmarterchallenge.org – a fuel-efficiency campaign to help U.S.

Another innovative feature of the campaign is a Broadband Media website at www.DWJTV.com/DriveSmarterChallenge with all of the campaign’s downloadable elements – video in multiple formats for TV, audio, images, photos, logos, and jingle. The site also includes a multi-media news release, campaign fact sheets, and bios.

Thank you Janis!

  1. I found your site on Google and read a few of your other entires. Nice Stuff. I’m looking forward to reading more from you.

  2. A calculator on the site computes not only your individual savings through your own actions, but also computes a running tally of savings by everyone who has taken the challenge. It demonstrates the impact of one person’s actions multiplied by similar fuel-efficiency actions of family members, friends, and colleagues of all the people who share the tips and challenge others to participate. Once taking the challenge, the site also delivers money-saving coupons for fuel-efficient products.

  3. Each week in the Dollar Stretcher Baby Boomer Section you’ll find articles and tips on topics important to Baby Boomers, including health, insurance, investing, retirement, vacationing and much more.
